swarm

beasts

buzz, buzz

vroom, vrump

incessant

ripping,

solace

shredded.

Lithe

lizard

caught

capped

snack~

Darwin.

on goes

buzzing

roaring

ripping

razors

motors

screaming

all around

I’m screaming

on the

inside

from the

sounds,

then I

remember

the lizard.

It could be

worse,

Darwin…

Gnomes

and

domes

hummingbirds

rest

butterflies

hover

bees

buzzing

flying by

a sip

a whack

what was

symphony

surrounds

when does it end?

We went to the Moon

but it is dangerous

to school

to Walmart…

We are Americans

we can do better

can’t we?

Look at the Country

we are passing

on to our children;

A dying planet

by our abuse,

violence everywhere

racism

sexism

poverty

homeless defecating

on the streets

children in cages

corruption in government

a failing education system

a middle class that cannot survive

and the list goes on.

We are Americans.

We can do better,

can’t we…
