Seasons change
and
so have I…
A broken tree
lies rotting
it becomes
a home to
millions of
little things…
Life erupts
overnight,
it was not
there
yesterday…
Beautiful
twisted
unique…
It has a
job to do,
it gets to
work,
and then
it lets go…
Lesson
learned…
I wander
through
my favorite
woods
and everyday
there is
something new…
A lesson
A creature
A truth
that settles
deep within
my bones…
I stand at
the threshold
of ‘old age’.
Everything has
changed,
eyesight blurs
insight sharpens.
Hearing dims
but some
sounds sharpen,
I hear the
heartbeat
of the notes
within a
symphony…
I move slower
but I notice
more…
This new phase,
my last phase…
I have earned
my right
to claim being
a Wise Woman.
I embrace
these changes,
it is an
honor
many never
see…
Oh to be
like a
flower~
lovely just
because it
exists.
beautiful
in it’s
sweet
complexity.
Simply
itself
and
stunning.
Useful
and
pleasant
for all
who
see,
a purpose
served.
Each petal
unique…
Nectar
seeds
medicine
life
for so
many…
joy
in plain
sight…
Slivered moon
smiling,
a light
shining
like diamonds
on fire…
I breathe
deeply
the joys
of being
alive~
there is
a peace
within the
gloaming
the sacred
time between
the light
and
the dark,
moonset
and
sunrise~
the quiet
the stillness
the collective
sigh
of all
that is
alive…
Walking at
sunrise
pleasant
surprise.
Dusty roads
leading
no where.
Watching
the sun
rise…
the gift
of another
day…
Embracing
the simplicity
of life.
I meet
a herd
of horses~
I am
eight again!
My excitement
overflows…
One horse
bravely
shares an
apple with
me…
and again,
I say
within,
thank you
for the
gift of
another
day…
